MERCHANDISE REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

POLICY

We want you to be 100% happy with any purchase from Baseball Australia and will do whatever we can within our policy to ensure that you remain a satisfied customer– that’s the spirit behind our refunds and exchange policy.

Our team inspects all merchandise sold to ensure the goods you receive meet our quality standards. We also take great care to make sure that goods purchased online are packaged correctly for shipment to minimise the risk of damage in transit. However, if you do receive a faulty or damaged item, or if you change your mind, this policy and process is here to help.

1. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If the goods you receive are not of merchandise quality i.e. faulty or damaged, Baseball Australia is happy to accept the return of goods for a full refund or exchange for quality product within 7 days of receipt by you. Baseball Australia will also gladly assume the responsibility for postage and handling costs associated with the return of faulty products.

2. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your goods for a different size or colour, Baseball Australia will gladly accept the exchange within 7 days of receipt by you, as long as the product is returned to us it it’s original condition, unworn with the tag attached in it’s original boxed packaging in the case of hats. The customer must assume responsibility for all postage and handling costs associated with an exchange.

3. Change of Mind

If you simply change your mind, Baseball Australia will provide a refund within 7 days of receipt by you, as long as the product is returned to us in it’s original condition, unworn with the tag attached and in it’s original boxed packaging in the case of hats. The customer must assume responsibility for all postage and handling costs associate with the return of goods for a refund. Baseball Australia will not refund the cost of original postage for a change of mind refund.

PROCESS

To commence a product return or exchange please email ABFadmin@baseball.org.au with the information needed as described below:

1. Faulty or Damaged Goods

• Proof of purchase, date you received the goods, description of fault or damage to the goods, photo evidence of the damage or fault, your full contact details including phone number;

• The Baseball Australia team will assess the details, respond to your email, and mail you a postage pack to return the goods in;

• Include a print out of Baseball Australia’s email response to you with the goods, this will act as your Returns Authority (RA);

• Upon Baseball Australia receipt of the goods and assessment, you will be contacted for the account details you would like to refund to.

2. Exchanges

• Proof of purchase, date you received the goods, reasons for desire to exchange, details of the alternate colour or size you would like, your full contact details including phone number;

• The Baseball Australia team will assess the details and respond to your email to let you know if stock is available for exchange and with further instructions;

• You will be required to ship the goods to Baseball Australia via comparable quality packaging and method that it was shipped to you;

• Include a print out of Baseball Australia’s email response to you with the goods, this will act as your Returns Authority (RA);

• Upon receipt of the goods and assessment, Baseball Australia will contact you for account details to charge cost of shipping the new goods back to you

3. Change of Mind

• Proof of purchase, date you received the goods, reasons for desire to return, your full contact details including phone number;

• The Baseball Australia team will assess the detail and respond to your email with further instructions;

• You will be required to ship the goods to Baseball Australia via comparable packing and method that it was shipped to you;

• Include a print out of Baseball Australia’s email response to you with the goods, this will act as your Returns Authority (RA);

• Upon receipt of the goods and assessment, Baseball Australia will contact you for the account details you would like the refund to.

Please Note: For purchases made through Baseball Australia’s online shop, Baseball Australia does not have a record of your credit or debit card details and we will require these details again to issue a refund or charge additional postage costs.
